Our acts are as follows…
ANNETTE FAGON
Annette Fagon is a loud and engaging comic newcomer, making fast progress on the UK comedy circuit.
Growing up as that rare thing in the midlands of the 1980s, the daughter of a Jamaican newsagent mother, has clearly left its mark.
Despite years of child drama classes and theatre performances, Annette frustrated her mother by spending 6 years at university, leaving without a degree, and returning to work there for a further 2 years.
After a variety of odd jobs – disability support worker, theatre house manager, comedy club waitress – Annette took up an odder job, in stand up comedy 3 years ago.
Currently talking – loudly – about everything from hoodies and mobile phone habits to Beyonce’s mental state, she has made rapid progress, appearing at theatres such as Nottingham Playhouse and comedy clubs such as Jongleurs – on the Upfront Cafa Tour.
PAUL DENNIS
Since beginning standup in 1999, Paul has performed at clubs all over the UK and in the US too. A multi-instrumentalist and skilled vocal artiste, Paul is by turns the parody maestro, the biting social commentator, the ribald raconteur and the tragicomic anti-hero all rolled into one.
MATT PRICE
Matt Price is known for having some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life. Hailing from Cornwall; he brings true warmth and heart to the stage whilst finding some audacious laughs in the most unexpected places.
Matt’s charm and talent have made him a favourite on the UK and International circuit and whether he is compering or performing a set, he has the expertise to win over even the toughest of audiences.
Despite the occasional misadventure on his travels Matt continues to work internationally and has worked in Eastern and Central Europe, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, South East Asia, Turkey, Australia and Scandinavia.
He is a very skilled act, in demand at comedy clubs and his versatility has also made him be chosen as a tour support for acts such as Russell Kane, Stephen K Amos and Norman Lovett.
His critically acclaimed solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival have also see Matt weaving his own amazing true tales into astonishing and very funny hour long solo shows.
