JULES O'BRIAN

Rik Mayall, French and Saunders, Victoria Wood, and Joan Rivers, as well as Katherine Ryan, Tim Minchin, Amy Schumer, and the Brum-based Luisa Omielan, Jules states her stand-up style is “Butter wouldn’t melt meets Is That All There Is?” (a reference to the dark song made famous by singer Peggy Lee). An English Tutor, Jules currently lives in Tamworth, Staffordshire, and performed a sell-out ‘triple-header’ with pals Tal Davis and Hannah Weetman during 2021’s Birmingham Comedy Festival. Jules O’Brian was shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, and performs at venues and festivals around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating. She is TalkTalk’s official voice – chosen by none other than the legend Bernard Cribbins – and her silly writings feature frequently in magazines including Prima and MamaLife. This former teacher’s relaxed and chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.

KRIS DAVIES

British Comedian of the Year Semi finalist Kris Davies, has been writing and performing stand-up comedy for over 6 years. A high energy storyteller from Bridgend South Wales with music. He has supported Nish Kumar, Harriet Kemsley and Bobby Mair and performed all over the UK including Cardiff and Birmingham Glee Clubs, Sandy park stadium Exeter, Bellylaughs, and London’s Back yard comed, The Stand Up club and the Bill Murray. As Welsh language Learner he made his Welsh Language Comedy Debut in Pontardawe Arts Centre in 2021. He has also appeared on BBC Sesh, regional radio, Tales from Wales Podcast. A competent and able MC currently hosting comedy nights all over the UK British stand up comedian of the year semi finalist 2022. Red planet prize nominee

JUSTIN PANKS

All the way from Singapore Toting his particular brand of uncompromising ‘Punk-Rock’ comedy, Justin Panks delivers unexpected punchlines and conjures up disturbing mental images that will stay with an audience for a lifetime.

Unapologetically fearless and committed to his cause he wades into the underbelly of everyday life surprising, shocking and delighting audiences with his well crafted jokes disguised as anecdotes.

Like a sufferer of Tourette’s syndrome that has had time to edit and construct his most embarrassing and revealing outbursts before making them public, he creates genuine excitement and generates enough power to to fill any room. This is not an act for the feint of heart.

The Night as always is Hosted by our other very own resident MC

Simon Emanuel

(As seen on BBC Wales 'Stand-Up for Sesh')

Tickets are priced at £10,
